This post is for those of you whom
have, or those of you whom are looking at switching from a Gross feed
in tariff electricity meter, to a Net meter. It is really important
to make sure any Energy Monitoring consumption current clamps are
relocated, after the net meter is installed.
Otherwise you run the risk of your
solar power feeding back through your consumption clamps. Thus your
energy monitoring system will be supplying useless consumption data. Your consumption data will appear to follow the generation curve in most cases.
In most cases after the meter is
changed, you will for sure NEED TO move the consumption current clamps. To change your consumption current
clamps to a suitable location for net metering, please visit our
SUPPORT page where we have two option for success. Both work 100%.
We are aware of a considerable number of homes in NSW, with incorrect current clamps for the consumption.
